Volunteer Clearances
All volunteers are required to have an ASD Volunteer ID Badge. This includes volunteering as a room parent, field trips, library helper, and any other school events or activities.
Pennsylvania state law requires the following clearances to be completed and submitted to the district prior to volunteering:
These documents must be updated every sixty (60) months in order to continue as a volunteer. Clearances must be less than one year old at the time of first submission.

Once the above steps are complete, schedule an appointment to go to the Abington School District Administration Building (970 Highland Ave, Abington, PA 19001) to process your clearance.
The volunteer ID badge must be shown to the Willow Hill front office staff at sign in upon arriving. Please display it prominently at all times!

- Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151)
